Hometown: Barrington, IL

Majors: Arts Administration

Minors: Leadership Studies, Community Arts, Honors

Fun Fact: Lived in Switzerland for 3 years

Favorite Honors Class: Whitworth TED Talk class –> It was a completely unique experience compared to any other type of class offered at Whitworth. Being able to learn and present a very specific type of organized work through the medium of a TED talk is something that I will carry with me the rest of my life and an important skill that everyone should at least take an attempt at learning!

Favorite experience in the Honors program: Being at the Smithsonian and getting the opportunity to network and experience the working world in a much more in-depth way than I would have been able to with a regular internship! Getting to be in Washington DC during the midterm elections and seeing democracy at work was also a very unique and life-changing experience.

Value of the program: The Honors Program is an all-encompassing academic minor which gave me the ability to earn credits in a variety of fields and allowed me to maximize my liberal arts education.
