Honors Council Conference: The River of Ideas
What is it?
- The Honors Council Conference is a wonderful opportunity for honors students, staff, and faculty to meet and discuss groundbreaking ideas and ways to inspire change in the future. The conference features presentations by a variety of different individuals, including students who can demonstrate their research, creativity, and experiences!
- There are many different types of presentations students can submit a proposal for: poster presentations, individual presentations, team presentations, roundtable discussions, workshops, visual art, and open mic performance.
- The theme for this year is confluence. Academics from all walks of life will gather together to share experiences, challenge each other, and ask tough questions. This “river of ideas” will allow us to learn from each other.
Where is it?
- This year it will be held at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana.
When is it?
- This will take place from Thursday, March 30 to Saturday, April 1.
- Proposal submissions are due by January 23, 2023. Accepted presentations will be announced in early February.
- If you have any questions, contact the director of the Honors Program Bert Emerson bemerson@whitworth.edu or the events hosts at dhc@umontana.edu.
