One of the biggest misconceptions that exists among when considering the business world is that you must have a business major to interact in these circles. This could not be farther from the truth. One of the wonderful things about business is that it reflects the core of what Honors is: a field full of interdisciplinary individuals who are striving . 

 

Now, the business department is calling all majors to participate in their annual tech start up weekend. This will be a weekend full of learning, networking, and growing as students work together for compete for prize money. 

 

What is it?

The Tech Start Up weekend is aimed to provide a place for students of all majors to pitch ideas and work together in teams to form their ideas into concrete plans. The weekend will be full of meeting individuals from a variety of fields in order to learn how to turn an idea into actuality. At the end of the weekend, each team will pitch their ideas to a team of real-world judges, who will determine the top three winners. First, second, and third place all receive prize money.

On Whitworth’s campus!

 

When is it?

November 18-20, 2022. Complete schedule will be provided closer to the event.
